HOUSE RULES AT VILLA ORCHIDEA GUESTHOUSE

Welcome to Villa Orchidea Guesthouse!
Our goal is for you to spend your vacation with us in the greatest peace, comfort and safety. The following House Rules and General Terms and Conditions are designed to ensure undisturbed and high-quality relaxation for all our guests.
By booking and occupying the accommodation, our Guests accept the provisions of this document.
General Terms and Conditions
1. Use of the accommodation
- The guesthouse can only be used for rest, vacation, and recreational purposes.
- Only registered guests may stay at the accommodation.
- Children under 18 years of age may only stay at the guesthouse under the continuous supervision of a parent or authorized, legally competent adult.
- Guests are obliged to use the house and its furnishings as intended and to comply with applicable laws.
2. Arrival and departure
- Arrival: from 2:00 PM
- Departure: by 10:00 AM at the latest
Depending on availability, later departure is possible upon prior arrangement and for an additional fee.
If the guest departs before the end date of the reservation, we are unable to provide a refund for the remaining period.
The booking becomes valid upon confirmation by the accommodation provider.
3. Check-in and data management
- Guests register their personal data via the link sent by the Service Provider, through the Vendégem application (document reading process).
- Data of minor guests must also be registered according to the law.
- If necessary, the operator's representative will provide assistance on site.
- Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable Hungarian legislation, exclusively for purposes related to accommodation services.
- The entrances are camera-monitored areas, solely for property protection purposes.
4. General usage rules
- Corrosive, flammable, explosive, environmentally or health hazardous substances may not be brought in.
- Any illegal activity is prohibited at the accommodation.
Particularly prohibited:
- prostitution,
- facilitating or mediating prostitution,
- commercial sexual services,
- using the accommodation for such purposes.
In case of illegal activity or serious breach of contract, the accommodation provider is entitled to immediately request the guest to leave, without refund obligation, and if necessary, to make a report to the authorities.
5. Peace and coexistence
Our guesthouse serves nature-oriented, quiet relaxation.
It is forbidden after 10:00 PM:
- making noise,
- playing music,
- noisy activities,
- loud television watching.
Any behavior that violates the peace, safety or privacy of others is prohibited on the accommodation premises.
The operator is entitled to warn the disruptive guest. After repeated warnings, the guest may be asked to leave without refund.
6. Safety and liability
- Guests use the accommodation at their own risk.
- The accommodation provider assumes no liability for injuries or damages suffered by the guest, except if they demonstrably result from the accommodation provider's intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
- The guest is fully liable for damages caused by themselves or their companions.
When leaving the accommodation, please:
- lock doors and gate,
- turn off taps,
- turn off lights,
- close windows.
The legal protection of the guesthouse is provided by Legitomo Legal Protection and Insurance Ltd.
7. Fire and accident prevention
- The use of open flames in the house is prohibited.
- Smoking is only allowed in the designated area of the yard.
- In case of fire, call: 112 or 105.
- The fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen/living room in the cabinet under the mirror.
- The first aid kit is located in the kitchen/living room above the refrigerator.
8. Use of wellness area
The use of the jacuzzi, infrared sauna, and outdoor pool is only allowed for those under 18 years of age with adult supervision.
PROHIBITED:
- bringing in glass containers,
- eating,
- smoking,
- alcohol consumption,
- using it in clothes or with an unclean body,
- putting any chemicals (bubble bath, bath salts, essential oils, etc.) into the water.
The cost of repairs or water replacement due to foreign objects or contaminants getting into the jacuzzi is borne by the guest.
After use, please turn off the equipment and cover the jacuzzi.
9. Cleaning and services
- The guesthouse is handed over clean with fresh textiles.
- For stays longer than one week, we provide weekly cleaning upon request.
- Extra cleaning and textile change can be requested for a fee.
11. Exclusion and termination of contract
The accommodation provider is entitled to exclude the guest if:
- they seriously violate these regulations,
- they endanger the safety of others,
- they damage the guesthouse's reputation.
In case of serious breach of contract, the booking may be terminated with immediate effect, without refund.
12. Final provisions
In matters not regulated in this document, the applicable Hungarian legislation shall prevail.
